This KC Academy Open Innovation for Leaders training course is designed for executives who are focused in creating the business for tomorrow, as well as managing the business of today. The global business environment is often characterized as VUCA; volatile, uncertain, chaotic, and ambiguous (‘Bennis and Nannus, 1987). The ability of leaders to steer their teams to innovate, requires not just the management of internal talent and skills – but also a managing of the valuable networks, critical suppliers, and strategic allies outside of the organisation, which is so often are the difference between innovation success or failure.

This Open Innovation for Leaders training course will allow participants to understand the process of Open Innovation, from both the strategic and tactical perspectives, and be able to apply and champion within their organisations. There are no prerequisites. Our courses are open to students of all backgrounds who are 18 years of age and older. All courses are conducted in English. Video lectures include English subtitles and the option to slow-down, pause, or replay lectures for better retention. Discussion boards are a critical component of each of our courses; therefore, we suggest students have a conversational knowledge of English when pursuing a Certificate of Completion. For any of the art writing courses, students need to be 100% proficient in written English.
