An Intensive 10-day Training Course

Petroleum Refining

Production Planning, Scheduling and Yield Optimisation

INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

This Petroleum Refining training course offers a comprehensive and practical overview of petroleum refining operations, covering two seamlessly integrated modules delivered across two weeks. Designed for engineers, planners, technologists, and professionals across the oil and gas value chain, the course focuses on key refining processes, production planning, scheduling strategies, and yield optimization.

Participants will explore the technical and economic aspects of refining, from crude selection to finished product delivery. They will gain critical insight into refining operations, blending techniques, quality management, and process optimization within the context of real-world refinery economics and operations.

The training course emphasizes hands-on application, industry-standard tools, and case-based learning to ensure participants leave with actionable skills to improve refinery performance, reduce quality giveaways, and enhance profitability.

This training course is split into two modules:

Module I - Production Planning & Scheduling in Petroleum Refineries

Module II - Refinery Process Yield Optimisation

Each module is structured and can be taken as a stand-alone training course; however, delegates will maximise their benefits by taking Module 1 and 2 back-to-back as a 2-week training course.
